Bi Luo Chun

Bi Luo Chun has a gentle flavour but rich aroma with a deep yellowy-green colour (Bi) and the curled dried tea shape similar to a snail (Luo). In addition, it must be harvested during early spring. There is not second harvest of this tea during the year.

This tea, a real favourite wit me because of its white tips on both light and dark green roasted leaves.

This is the third steep quite early in the process

To me this has an alluring deep taste rich with an almost herbal taste - a real sustainer for the afternoon.

North Vietnamese White tea and fruit

Vietnamese white tea from Ha Giang, Gaiwan from Hanoi, mangosteen, lychee, rambutan, cloth from southern Myanmar.

This tea was light but kept giving beyond the sixth steep.

Possessed of smoky notes, a lingering finish and a rich sweet aftertaste this tea is a subtle accompaniment to tropical fruit.
